About Course

This course will challenge you to think differently about how you move through the commercial real estate space. Much of the action takes place online, and not just on the tried and true listing sites… if you are only using traditional CRE channels, you are leaving deals on the table.

Transcript

I’m Bucky Beeman, commercial real estate agent in Rochester, Minnesota with RGI, and I’m pushing myself in this content!

We need to stop. As commercial real estate agents, we need to stop doing the same over and over when it comes to marketing properties. How often do you just see this boring outside photo of a building as the first photo – the one that is supposed to catch attention when someone is scrolling on LoopNet or Crexi or any of these other platforms?

What are we doing?! We need to catch people’s attention. Like, how do we add different angles? How do we add effects? How do we add Stickers, as they may call them on Instagram? How do you add different things that will catch people’s attention?

Maybe it’s considered “clickbait,” maybe it’s just considered smart. To get people to inquire on your listing, to inquire on my listing, stop doing it the same! Stop doing it like everybody has now for many years on the internet. We need to change things up.

Course Content

Jumping into Social Media
In order to stand out as a CRE agent, you will have to embrace new technologies and understand the latest trends for how listings are seen... some of the ways this is done may surprise you!

Connecting the Platforms
Each platform is different, and you can't really count any of them out, even if you don't have a significant audience on certain ones. That's because they all have unique tools that could help your content stand out. In this section, you will learn how to repurpose content across each platform, and how to be an early adopter to increase your likelihood of forming a strong audience when a new platform emerges.

Start Your Journey
To finish this course, I'd like to introduce you to others in the industry who get these principles I've shared with you, and who have taught me and push me to grow along the way. Welcome to the industry! And if you've been here for awhile, we can't wait to see how you change it with this new information you've just learned.
