Finding Commercial Real Estate for Your Business
About Lesson

Hey guys! You know, often you get into a space, you’re looking at it, your liking the way that it feels, you see your business being successful, and you forget to pay attention to the parking.

I would highly recommend the space that you’re considering, for you to go there during business hours when other businesses maybe have an influx of people coming, and seeing what that parking is like. Because if you have a customer that’s coming to your business and they’re unable to find a parking spot, it is amazing that how much that can actually affect your business.

Now there are some ways to obtain parking in your lease. You could ask for specified spots for your business. Another thing you could do is look at neighboring properties and seeing if there’s a place for even, possibly, your employees to park, leaving more parking for customers.

So, remember to check out the parking, and definitely go scope it out prior to signing your lease.
