Hey guys! So often, I’ve seen people forget about the neighboring business, and what potentially could go into those spaces next to where you move your business.
And the reason this can matter is because, just imagine if you have a business that does not do well next to a liquor store. I don’t know what that business may be. I’m sure we can come up with a list of them. If you don’t have protection in your lease that the landlord cannot put in certain uses next to you, that landlord can potentially put any business. And when I say “any business,” I mean it – any business into that space.
And so, definitely understand what can go in next to you, or what is next to you, because that will definitely affect your opportunity to be successful in small business.
