So what you can do, depending on what state you’re in, I would recommend going to Google. And I like to type in, because I’m in Minnesota, “Minnesota traffic counts.” What will pop up is “MNDOT,” and there is a traffic count map. And that map is pretty interactive. You’re able to zoom in to a precise location and determine what the average daily traffic count is at the intersection that you’re considering.

So keep in mind traffic counts when you’re looking for the best location.
